Life is good

So life has been pretty hectic lately.

At the end of March and the beginning of April, I got some new human cousins. On March 30, my Aunt Allison and Uncle Eddy had a baby girl and named her Delaney. On April 2, my Uncle Chip and Aunt Collen had a baby girl and named her Madison. They are very cute, but I'm not allowed to play with them yet.

Mom got a new job in Wake County. She starts her job in August. Since she is only going to be 2 miles from home, maybe I'll get to go to school with her and meet her students. I think they would all love me!

Mom has been working in Chapel Hill at some camp for kids who play on computers. While she has been gone, I've gotten to play with lots of cool people.

I've spent a lot of quality time with Dave. He takes me for long walks and plays with me all the time. He is always willing to pet me when I feel the need to have some attention.

I also spent a week with Bob. He is a big furry dog who slobbers a lot, but it's fun to have someone to play with. His owner doesn't even make me put on my leash when I go outside.

Currently, I'm at Granny's house. I really like staying at Granny's house-she feeds me lots of treats and we have "sleep-offs" all the time. She is really good at "sleep-offs". Sometimes she takes me over to Misty's house and I play with her. Misty really likes to sleep with me in my bed. She loves me a lot. Misty is 4 years old and is about as big as me. I'm usually really tired after I spend time at Misty's house but that is when Granny comes to get me and we proceed with the sleeping.

I'm going back to Raleigh next week. I really miss my mommy and I want to see her. She and Dave are going to Europe in a few weeks and I might stay with Bob and his owner or maybe I'll go back home with Granny.

Oh the choices I have to make!

I've attached a picture of me and Misty. Neither of us sits still for long- that's why the picture is blurry.

There she is !!

I guess Granny was asleep and you managed to sneak on to her 'puter to update us all on your summer escapades.

Sounds like you are having a great time... what a relief that your important routine of snacks and naps hasn't been upset too much.
