Big News!

I'm going to be a big sister!  Mommy is having a baby and I hope it's another furbaby like me!  Mommy and Daddy keep telling me that a baby is coming to move in in December.  I don't know if it is going to be a girl or a boy or a furbaby or a human baby.

I might be looking for a new place to live...

Park

I just had the most amazing day!  I got to go the dog park with Mom, Dad, Uncle Rick and Buki (he's a dog).
I wasn't really sure what to do at the park, but I really enjoyed myself!  I stuck my Mom and Dad mostly but I wandered off a few times.  Buki was completely attached to Uncle Rick and didn't really like to be left.  I had a great time and I can't wait to go back again....soon!

Happy Christmas!

I must have been a good girl this year because Santa came to see me!

Christmas is one of my favorite times of year because I get to wear my Santa hat all the time.  I think I'm supposed to wear it on the top of my head but it always seems to fall down around my chin like a beard.  If I'm naughty, my mommy and daddy take my Santa hat away from me as punishment.  When I can show that I'm a big girl again I get my hat back!

Grandma and Grandpa Mulley (from all the way in England) sent me some presents this year.  They sent me a very stylish bow tie to wear and some chocolate covered doggie treats (don't worry it's not real chocolate-so it's safe for dogs).  I LOVED both of my presents from them...especially the chocolates.  I have decided that I really like the taste of chocolate...and this has led me to get into some trouble.

The day after Christmas, my cousins (Tripp, Madison and Delaney) came to see me with their parents.  I find the little people a bit stressful.  They are loud and run around a lot and are about the same size as me!

Mom and Dad also got some lovely English chocolates for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa Mulley.  One night while they were out I decided to try some of their treats.  Apparently, this was not one of my better ideas.  Mom and Dad were sooooo mad at me.  Mom even gave me a spankin'.  I think I've learned my lesson...

mmmmmmmmmmm, candy

So Mom wasn't feeling too good today and she slept on the couch downstairs a lot.  I was worried about her so Dad moved my bed over beside the couch so that I could help her nap.  We had a good ol' nap off like we used to and it was awesome!  This evening, Mom and Dad left me for a few hours...I guess Mom needed to get out of the house.  While they were gone, I noticed that there was some leftover Halloween candy sitting on the ottoman. I decided to help myself to some of the candy (you know-to help Mom and Dad out).  There were some Hershey's Bars, Starbursts and Skittles.  I really liked the Hershey's Bars and Starbursts (but not the yellow ones--YUCK!). Apparently, that wasn't a good idea to help Mom and Dad out by eating the candy.  When they got home they were VERY angry with me.  I made me look at my mess and then she and Dad cleaned it up and wouldn't talk to me for the rest of the night.  I guess I've learned my lesson...

Krazy Aunt and Big Celebrities

So this weekend, my Aunt Krissy came to visit.  It has been a couple years since I've seen her and she is just as fun as I remember!  She gives me lot of attention and gets on the floor and plays with me (kind of like Dad but with a lot more high-pitched talking and energy).  She came down to run a race with Dad and the Carolina Hurricanes.  It was very hot but I think they all had a good run.

After Aunt Krissy left, Mom found a flea on my belly and really freaked out!  She got Dad all riled up and then they started calling around to the local vets to get some medicine for my flea.  It worked out really well for me--I got to go for a car ride!!!  We went to Pet Smart to get some CAPSTAR to help kill the flea(s).  When we walked in the store these two people came running over and asked Mom if they could pet me.  She said, "sure". It turns out that the couple who wanted to love on me was Ed and Heba from The Biggest Loser.  They loved me and kept talking about how cute I was.  It's not easy to be such a lovable pooch--but I make it happen.

Independence Day

Soooo, let's be honest...I'm not a fan of fireworks.  There are a few days of the year that people around here let off fireworks and I really don't like it.  The loud noise scares me.  Mom and Dad do really well at distracting me so that i don't get too scared but sometimes they aren't here and it's even scarier to be at home by myself when the fireworks are going off.  They usually turn the radio on and play that so that I don't hear the boom boom pow as much and I'm much more relaxed.

I love Granny

Mom, Dad and I crammed ourselves in the MINI and drove to Granny's house this past weekend.  Mom's friend, Allison, got married and Mom, Dad and Granny were invited to the wedding (I'm still not sure why I don't get invited to more events-I have some lovely pearls I could wear).  I had fun spending time with Granny and got to indulge in tons of treats because Granny knows how much I love them!  I get to run around in Granny's backyard without my leash on and that's pretty awesome.  There are some small dogs that live behind Granny's house and they are very loud and bark a lot.  It just shows everyone how mature I am because I don't bark and I don't run away when I'm off my leash.  I love going on road trips with my parents!
