Singing in the rain

I'm on vacation at Granny's house this week and she has apparently enrolled me in swim lessons. It is raining like crazy here and Granny keeps making me go outside. I don't really mind but I think she may be a little off her rocker because she keeps coming with me. I've gotten really good at the backstroke and the freestyle but my favorite will always be the doggie-paddle.

I haven't seen my mommy in a while and I miss her. Don't get me wrong, I love staying with Granny but I still miss my mommy. Granny lets me eat treats all day and I never have to eat my dinner or breakfast, she just lets me eat treats for all of my meals. She buys me lots of new toys and I try really hard not to tear them up but sometimes I just can't help it. The little girl across the street from my granny's house loves me. She tells everyone that I am her dog, but that's a lie. She is four years old and about as tall as me.

I might get to see my cousin, Tripp, this week. He is fun to play with. He also has 2 four-legged brothers and we really like to play. Tripp also likes to give me treats. I'm not sure why everyone likes to give me treats. My mom sure doesn't give me many. Maybe it's because I have such a cute smile.

Oh! I almost forgot. Mom and I moved into a new house. It has stairs that I can run up and down. I really like it. There are some other dogs that live in the neighborhood and lots of rabbits and squirrels. I have two beds in my new house; one upstairs by Mom's bed and one downstairs by the couch. Sometimes I like to get on the couch but Mom gets pretty mad at me for doing that.

I guess that's all that is going on in my life. I'll try to do something fun so that I'll have something else to write about.
